There is a LOT of material out there on how to become a “Pick-Up Artist” (PUA). I think the fact that you are trying to walk into someplace just to pick a girl up in the first places is going to make it harder for yourself. You should be going out to have a fun night, not to just pick up girls. If you are going out just to pick up girls, you are going to have a lot of nights that are not fun in your book. Try to look at it as if you were going out to have fun for yourself, talking to some beautiful women could be a nice thing, but won’t impact the fun level.
If you are not as successful with women as you’d like, then you are probably just not getting yourself out there in the right way, don’t try to get these things down to an exact science. In fact, scientifically, women are more attracted to things that are spontaneous, so let’s make it just that. Other than that, let’s try to stay away from the science of things for right now.
You just need to start talking to women more. If I could just embed this into all male’s heads, then there would be no reason for me to be writing this right now. The key to finding women to be with is talking to a lot of them. You are not going to get together with 100% of the women you are interested in. You are not going to get together with 50% of the women you are interested in. The shotgun effect is what we’re looking for. Also, I know a lot of you don’t like this, but you need to talk to women that you are not attracted to as well. Especially if you are uncomfortable talking to good looking women. This will help to boost your confidence and get you more comfortable talking to women naturally.
So many men become sad when they see a women they were interested in leave. I think it’s funny; they actually get sad when a beautiful girl leaves a bar because they liked the idea of them getting together. Sometimes they have talked to her, sometimes they haven’t. Either way, you should never be sad about this, you need to just keep going. Keep talking to more and more women and you’ll find whatever it is you were looking for. Try not to get hung up, the old saying “there are plenty of fish in the sea” rings through my head. This is obviously a different case if you’ve been in a relationship with someone for a long time, I’d expect some depression if there were to be a break up there.
